I Have a Say - Don't Speak for Me Ms. Richards!

Cecil Richards, president of Planned Parenthood, makes the audacious presumption that we all feel the same way the abortion giant does about abortion and contraception. Well, we have news for her and for the Administration! We support LIFE, NFP, and the conscience rights of our Catholic Church...thus several of us have begun our own 'I have a say!' campaign in opposition to the HHS Mandate.

My fellow 'Catholic Sistas' and I, are collecting photos for a video response. Check out the post - I have a say…Cecile Richards does NOT speak for me. Here comes the Catholic Church! - to get the scoop. There are several sample photos below as well...we love the creativity of our friends!

It's here, it's HERE!!!!
The 'I have a say...here comes the Catholic Church' video has gone live over at Catholic Sistas. What a wonderful testament to our Catholic Faith! A big THANK YOU for all who submitted photos. You can keep them coming, by the way, as our campaign is just beginning...

Here Comes the Catholic Church!
Listen to Fr. John Hollowell's excellent video response to get a sense of what the clergy thinks about this intrusion. His blog, I have a Say!, presents 'a collection of voices expressing thanks that their parents chose life and are thus able to stand up and say "I have a say!!"'
About Fr. Hollowell: I am a priest for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis. This blog is a feeble attempt to heed the call of Pope Benedict the 16th for all priests to maintain a blog. I hope to post a lot of videos on here of homilies and talks, and share reflections on what I'm reading and what is happening in the world.

Support Cardinal Dolan Sign the Religious Freedom Petition
Cardinal Dolan urges Catholics to take a stand for religious freedom: The HHS mandate is “an unwarranted, unprecedented radical intrusion...We’re not trying to impose our teachings on anybody...We’re simply saying, don’t impose your teaching upon us and make us do as a church what we find unconscionable to do.” Click LIKE to support Cardinal Dolan and PLEASE sign the PETITION.

  1. Birgit,
Fr. John Hollowell has his own blogs :
    http://i--have--a--say.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html and
    http://on-this-rock.blogspot.com/ .

Down on the Pharm is the news-blog of your friendly, rural dwelling, pro-life pharmacist.

I love the free promotion but have to tell the truth. I snagged Fr. Hollowell's video and embedded it, wanting to bring him some hits.

By the way, I have been to your blog before, surfing from Jill Stanek's. This "I have a say" photo display is cool.

    God bless!

    1. Hi Pattie! Yes, please do link to my blog, but more importantly, link to the www.CatholicSistas.com. They/we are behind a big push to create a video montage of photos to post on YouTube. Many of the photos are theirs. Thank you so much for all of your hard work in helping to gather photos...you've done a fantastic job!
